Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I believe healing is an innate capacity within each of us, and my role is to support and guide you through that unique process.
With over 25 years of experience as a mindfulness-based therapist (LMFT lic#50714), yoga teacher, and dancer, I approach healing through the body first. My journey began in my early twenties when I took my first yoga class and discovered how mindful attention to the breath helped calm my overthinking. Moving mindfully became a way to stay present with myself through whatever arose, supporting my own healing.
Subsequently, I wanted to help others come home to their bodies as I had, so I trained in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and became a certified practitioner in 2000. As my work with clients evolved, I earned a Master’s degree in Holistic Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where I deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and the transformative impact of body-centered psychotherapy.
I run an intentionally small, boutique practice in Santa Monica, California, ensuring that each client receives the embodied care they deserve.
In my practice, I bring together the science of psychology, the mindfulness of yoga, and the intuitive wisdom of the body. This integrative approach allows us to go deeper than words alone, tuning in to how your experiences live in your body, and gently working with them through movement, breath, and awareness.
Whether we’re talking, stretching, breathing, or simply noticing, each session is a space to reconnect, release, and rediscover your wholeness.
From day 1 we instantly connected. It was easy, and felt right, to open up to her and discuss my history. I have been to my fair share of therapist in the past and often find that this is the most difficult part. She made it feel effortless, and non-judgmental.
Out of 18 years of seeing many therapists who I feel did not help me, Stefani joined me at my level with connection, grace, empathy and grounded energy to help guide me to my greatest self and achieve my fullest potential.
